war:webapp generating classes inside web-inf/classes/SRC/JAVA

It is really strange.

I dont even have a maven.xml, only project.xml, and when war:webapping,
it generates TWO dirs with the classes inside web-inf:

web-inf/classes/src/java/...
and
web-inf/classes/...

and they have the same content. what is happening? my source directory
is

<sourceDirectory>src/java</sourceDirectory>

as 99% of the projects...

I am using today's cvs snapshot.
