I see why you'd want this, but I'd observe that <zip> + <unzip> does the same
thing with the advantage that it goes through the zip archive. Why is that an
advantage? because it verifies that the zip file system (with its two second
timestamp) is compatible with your build and deploy process. If it isnt, you
might find that precompiled JSP pages are rebuilding, or other quirks, problems
that would only show up when you went to production, rather here than in testing.

Does that seem like a reasonable answer?
