When build on windows XP, several modules break because of the error like
/cygdrive/d/aoosrc/aoo/main/svtools/JunitTest_svtools_unoapi.mk:28: ***
Malformed target-specific variable definition. Stop.
dmake: Error code 2, while making 'all'
--without-junit is specified.

The original error may have been caused by an error in gnu make. The mail
referenced above outlines possible fixes. I applied fix no. 2 to the relevant
makefiles some time ago.
