Hello KK

I tried to reproduce this problem with quite a number of scenerio's but could not. I even tried the applications myfaces applications (thanks for sharing them with me).  

I tried to look into code and from what I understand the place where you were getting null pointer is not related to dependencies and I am not sure but looks like the problem is some where else.

Can you please recheck the scenerio you have and confim.
