there might be a problem with the remote repository indexing. once  i press scan immediately, it just stops without any progress. when i check the archiva.log file it listed that archiva tries to access the wrong url

Caused by: java.io.FileNotFoundException: File: http://repo.maven.apache.org/maven2/.index/nexus-maven-repository-index.properties/nexus-maven-repository-index.properties , ReasonPhrase:Not Found.

as you can see, the phrase "nexus-maven-repository-index.properties" got doubled at the end. this is the result no matter what i type in the remote index url field in the remote repository settings
