[fop-users] HTML-table to FO-table?
Dear FOP developers,
I was wondering if anybody has any XSLT code they'd like to donate
which converts any arbitrary HTML table into an XSL:FO table? I realize this
may not be the place to post such a question, but... in light of any other
forum...

There are several good tutorials available from IBM and the like, on XSL
using FOP. Some are dated.

Java to PDF

Does anyone have experience of iText? http://www.lowagie.com/iText/ ?
We are happily using FOP for producing printable versions of some web pages, however
due to FOP's status (not all of spec conformance, not very fast or memory
efficient) we have to keep an eye out for possible alternatives.
I realise that this software isn't really an XML->Printable/PDF as FOP is, but
it is still worth comparing against.

the Fop documentation can be found in the Fop distribution under
docs/html-docs
There is no tutorial, how to use Fop, which isn't so hard to use
anyway, but you may need some information on xsl:fo. Please look
in the docs under resources to find some pointers to tutorials there.
