           Version: 1.2
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Configurator
        AssignedTo: log4j-dev@logging.apache.org
        ReportedBy: matthias.buchner@gmail.com

hi,

I used PropertyPrinter to write a modified config file.
I can see that a few config variables are defined in the created file (set with
the default value) and that the name of some of then have been modified.
Everything could be ok but one of the variable added by the class
PropertyPrinter is causing some problems.
When I try to read the new file with PropertyConfigurator, I have the following
error message:
log4j:WARN Failed to set property [contentType] to value "text/plain".

Regards,
Matthias
