Log files

I've had an instalation for about a year with no problems. Today I got calls about dropped audio. Where can I find the logs to see what's happening. We wiki site seems to be not working.

I'm not seeing any errors in the error log. I'm getting a slight pause and the audio will catch up ever once in awhile. I've tested between 2 external sources and internal lan to rule out bandwidth issues. Showing very minimal CPU usage of between .2 and .5 % shows 6 gb free of 8 gb ram.

Hello Steve,

the log files of OM you can find usually in the /usr/lib/red5/log folder. Normally you can find there the log files reg5.log, openmeetings.log and error.log.

In the OM database you find some log informations in the tables conferencelog or errorvalue:
select * from conferencelog;
select * from errorvalue;

Greetings,
Michael
