Great debugging once again, [~yanxinyi]! I just tried this scenario and it did indeed throw an ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException when I tried to drop the view from a 4.14 client. Unfortunately (for the sake of the 4.15 RC), this exception is *not* thrown for 4.13 \-> 4.14 and looks like it is due to something newly introduced in 4.15 as opposed to a pre-existing issue.
However, since the actual view _is_ dropped (despite the exception thrown at the client), I'm not 100% sure if we should count this as a blocker. How have we approached similar issues in the past?
What are your thoughts [~larsh] [~gjacoby] [~kadir]?
