If we talk about time based that will not be appropriate approach because it ca effect the efficiency and time as well.
Because let's suppose we are going to set timer of 5s or more:
- It will wait for 5 sec and if the query is wrong our time will be wasted where query simply require 1 sec.
- Time is directly depend upon the type of query.
- If someone is writing query that takes approximately 10 sec but our timer is 5 sec then that query will be removed after 5 sec that will not be a good approach.
**Conclusion:**
Time Based approach will not be more appropriate as it will effect the overall performance and efficiency.Rather using key strokes is a good option.
