Very interested. All things considered I may be able to help setup a
simple 2 node demo if I have the spare hw at the time.
Not sure how interested people will be in this, but ping me #wicket /
#terracotta or email in case you have ideas or would like your app as
part of the demo.. (no promises)

Cool. I'm checking to see if Jonas Bonér can make it. He lives in Sweden,
so it's pretty easy for him to get to Amsterdam. Keep you all posted.

Tell how you used Wicket it for Servoy. Or have a tips & tricks for
production sites session. Or just have wine & tapas. :-)

We can do a short informal talk on why and how we use Wicket to build
our new CMS. I can do the "why", and I'll try to persuade someone else
to do the "how" ;-)
Since we are basically Wicket newbies this might turn into a rather
"Idols" like assessment, but we are interested to know what others think
of our approach so I guess that's all right :-)

I'll attend and definitely will do my best to answer any questions about the portlet support as much as I can.
I haven't really planned a "presentation" yet, but if there is enough interest I guess I can come up with something ;)

About Liferay specifics, I'm willing to help of course but as I don't know much of its internals my knowledge is limited.
What I can do is try to contact Brian Chan or Jorge Ferrer from Liferay directly who I know personally from our JSR-286 meetings.
But that'll have to wait until after ApacheCon US next week as I really don't have time for anything else right now (besides supporting several custom portal
projects).
Please do ping me again if I don't follow up in 2 weeks time.

Ate

This is your chance to do some practicing on presenting Johan! One
idea that comes in mind is to let Arje or someone else from Hippo talk

Hi guys,
Thanks for the heads-up Johan, our Wicket meetup is in 3 weeks already so we need to get going :)
To answer the infra question: yes, there will be wireless internet, powerplugs taped to the tables, beamers, whiteboards, the whole lot :)
And I'd definitely be interested in a Terracotta talk. And I'd love to see that 2-node setup running!

my presentenion skills could need some practicing. I'd be more than
happy to chip in a 10 or up to 15 minute thing on wicket-contrib-gmap2.
Is there anything known about the infrastructure? Will there be a
connection to the internet?
That would give a chance for examples and take the emphasis away from
the code.
Also, I don't own a laptop, so I'll have to ask for someones to do the
presentation on.
