[jira] Created: (TRINIDAD-1778) tree tag rendering produces
duplicate IDs
tree tag rendering produces duplicate IDs
-----------------------------------------
Key: TRINIDAD-1778
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TRINIDAD-1778
Project: MyFaces Trinidad
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Components
Affects Versions: 1.2.13-core
Environment: RH Linux, JBOSS 4.2
Reporter: Wolfgang Chico Toepfer
The tree tag rendering now works by generating duplicate IDs which Trindad itself criticizes in its log; a closer look reveals that in 1.2.13
we now get a span for each node which always has the same ID as the tree itself..

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
The attached project is a demo that shows the buggy behavior. Click on the button 'Change Tree' and a tree made with the tree tag is displayed. Watch the log and you can see the error message '..duplicate id..'.
Note that this demo project has been exported from Eclipse and has been emptied of all the JARs. It is not mavenized.
You will have to add the JARs yourself. This includes the Trinidad 1.2.13 plus all the JARs added by Seam-gen i.e. you have to use Seam-gen to get the JARs.

This erroneous behavior is also shown in the Trinidad examples demo, component demo for tree.
