spooldir ignore pattern

Documentation lists this parameter as used for ignoring filenames based on a regex.

Does anyone have a working example of excluding a filename with a specific extension? Having trouble with the setting.

Found an answer. A regular regex for the end of a file was not working,
but beginning of a file works ok.

For example:

Source spoolDir

ignorePattern=\.hide$
	Does not work

ignorePattern=^hide\.*
	DOES work
