[jira] [Commented] (SOLR-8640) CloudSolrClient does not send the credentials set in the UpdateRequest

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-8640?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15206462#comment-15206462 ]

Cassandra Targett commented on SOLR-8640:
-----------------------------------------

[~noble.paul] - This is confusing - the issue is fixed in 6.0 and 5.5.0? But, it's still open and doesn't include 5.5 as the fixVersion so it appears open at first glance. Would you update this issue to the proper state so it's more clear?

> CloudSolrClient copies the UpdateRequest, but not the credentials. So BasicAuth does not work if u use CloudSolrClient
