Any issues installing Subversion on our CVS server?

I searched the FAQs, Online Docs and the mail servers, but I couldn't
find anything definitive.

Would there be a problem installing Subversion (server) on our current
CVS server? We use pserver to access our CVS repository, with a few
web-based, browsers. It's a linux system, version 2.4.21-20.

I apologize for such a basic question, but I don't want to impact our
production system.

Thank you.

No, there's no reason the same machine can't run pserver and subversion
server(s) at the same time. The degree of changes you want to apply on
your production system is a separate issue, really, though.
