[jira] Commented: (GERONIMO-2460) JPA container managed persistence support

David Jencks commented on GERONIMO-2460:
----------------------------------------

As of rev 471383, if you also apply GERONIMO-2451 and uncomment a line in PersistenceUnitGBean to set the priority order, runtime enhancement works with simple enough apps (not daytrader).

You have to start geronimo with an agent something like this:

java -javaagent:geronimo-jetty6-jee5-1.2-SNAPSHOT/bin/jpa.jar -jar geronimo-jetty6-jee5-1.2-SNAPSHOT/bin/server.jar --long

> Provide some way to use jpa with container managed persistence while we figure out the spec deployment details.
> An implementation is in sandbox/javaee5. You set up a PersistenceUnitGBean in your app plan and use persistence-context-refs in your app jndi descriptions (in the geronimo plan, not the spec dd)
