What shall be the next steps with this PR? Can those who object to currently proposed version (@matthiasblaesing, @vieiro) modify the PR so it is acceptable for them?
Btw. recently I was teaching my kids Java and found a [nice course that uses NetBeans](https://www.itnetwork.cz/java/zaklady/java-tutorial-instalace-a-ovladani-netbeans-ide-konzolova-aplikace)! Having courses like this is an excellent value that we don't want to loose. It has to be admitted that for existing materials like this, it is important to keep the Ant based projects around and _deprecate_ them _carefully_.
