[jira] [Commented] (PDFBOX-3300) Space rendered as missing glyph

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PDFBOX-3300?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15230581#comment-15230581 ]

John Hewson commented on PDFBOX-3300:
-------------------------------------

This font has been subset in a strange manner, there are 6996 glyphs, but most of them are blank. There's no glyph or cmap entry for uni0020 (space). So it makes sense that we're drawing the missing glyph. However, in the PDF font the Widths array does give the width of a space (32), as 220. Presumably we could be smart about this and draw an appropriate space.
