Social media to create awareness, drive adoption & growth
Hi all,
It seems to me that we are under-utilising our social media (twitter
@trafodion) to create awareness of our products and what we do, to drive
adoption and grow our community. E.g. the latest tweet from the @trafodion
account is from July 8th in 2015.
Maybe we should allow more tweeters to work with that account? What do you
think?

Yes! I was able to find the Twitter account password. And I added Amanda, so
she can now tweet on that account.

"Hadoop RDBMS" to a more descriptive name like, say, Apache Trafodion.

Hi Pierre,

That's where I am as well, though I am not a committer and not on the PMC.
I'm just an interested contributor... :) I am, however, all about open
communication and the more visibility, the better. The more people see
"Trafodion" in various places, the more familiar it becomes .

restricted it to 1 person, some (like the Apache Directory project - of
which I am a PMC member) have every PMC Member enabled to spread the
word... Some PMC feel the need to define strict ruling.
IMO, we're all in this boat together and the more spreading positive vibes
the greater the benefit.
