tomcat crash problem (OPEN)
Hi,
I upgraded tomcat from 5.0.28 to 6.0.36, after upgrade tomcat server is consuming lot of memory and once if memory reaches to 3GB then it is crashing (max memory I configured is 3GB).
Please find the details below.
Operating System : SunOS 5.10 Generic_142900-11 sun4u sparc SUNW,SPARC-Enterprise
Tomcat Version : tomcat 6.0.36
Java Version : Java 1.6.35
JBoss Version= :JBOSS 6.0.0-AS
Database: Oracle 11g
Could you please let me know is there any issues in above configuration.
Tomcat behaves(working fine with max of 1.5 GB memory) normally before upgrade.
Version : tomcat 5.0.28
Java Version : Java 1.4
JBoss Version :JBOSS 3.2.1
Database : Oracle 10g
Regards,
Subbu.

What kind of a crash is that? Does JVM crashes (look for a file named
hs_err_pid*), or Tomcat (look at Tomcat logs)? Send us the log files.
We need more information before we can diagnose the problem.
