You upgraded both Apache and PHP? Even if you did, Apache2+PHP really do
not work well together yet. Perhaps the upcoming 4.3.2 Apache2 Handler
version of PHP will fare better, but for now I strongly suggest using
Apache 1.3.x if you need a production-quality Apache+PHP server.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I upgraded both of them. Now, I am going to
re-turn on my Apache 1.3.23 compiled from source long ago. Indeed, PHP
was working perfectly then.
RH version-politics is really very strange (not only concerning Apache).
