Irina, I see the problem in the record. Still interpretation may be different.
"Event details" window does disappear. It takes two seconds on your computer. Yes, while the window is being disappearing, it is cleaned (0:40). I cannot see that on my installation (r1331516) or on the server.

Sebastian, I am still able to reproduce issue with the recent version (rev. #1331216) - please see attached recording for more details.
It seems like when I click the "Save" button of the just created event, it's saved, event form gets closed and after this gets opened for another - new - event.
Maybe it's designed in such a way. But from the user's point of view it looks a little bit strange. Probably, saving new and existing events should work in the same manner: after the saving event screen should be closed.
