BYON only being able to take its config via YAML is a pain in the butt - the only other way to get config into BYON is via CacheNodeStoreModule, which means you have to change how you're initializing BYON etc, etc, etc...it's a pain. At the very least, I'd like to have the ability to define BYON nodes with JSON. But I'd also really like to have an actual honest-to-god programmatic interface for adding/removing nodes from the compute service, which would just make BYON a lot easier to use.
