+Java Tags
+=========
+
+Prior to the incubator 1.0 milestone 2 release cycle of Apache Tuscany,
+tags for java releases were created in a flat directory structure under
+https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/tuscany/tags/ .  With the
+move to modular releases that began with milestone 2 a new directory
+structure arrangement was devised to hold the tags.  Parent directories
+for each releasable artifact have been created,  and each release will
+result in a new tag directory being created within the appropriate
+directory,  Each leaf node tag directory being named after the release,
+e.g.  1.0-incubator-M2.  The structure is as follows.
