ActiveMQ on Solaris 10 under SMF control will not online
Hi,
We have just installed ActiveMQ on Solaris 10 and have created a manifest
file in order to place the ActiveMQ process under SMF control.
Problem is the SMF service manages to start the process, but it will not
online. If a timeout is inserted for the start command, it times out as if
the process has not started properly.
I notice when I start ActiveMQ from the prompt, it does not return to the
shell unless the "&" is added after the command. Could this be confusing SMF
into thinking the service has not started properly?
