[jira] [Created] (AMBARI-444) Nagios checks send kicks to the agent that trigger a run.

vitthal (Suhas) Gogate created AMBARI-444:
---------------------------------------------

Summary: Nagios checks send kicks to the agent that trigger a run.
                 Key: AMBARI-444
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-444
             Project: Ambari
          Issue Type: Bug
    Affects Versions: ambari-186
            Reporter: vitthal (Suhas) Gogate
            Assignee: vitthal (Suhas) Gogate

It is was surprise discovery that puppet kick --ping loads and applies the catalog. So instead of puppet ping, use check_tcp plugin to check, if agent is running and listening on the 8139 port.
