svndumpfilter

Hi,                                  0x2B859DE3 (PGP-PK-ID)

As some others I experience problems when trying to split a repository in  
smaller parts with svndumpfilter.  Due to move and copy actions the filter  
gives the error message "invalid copy source path" because the named  
directory has been excluded...
 Is there a way to avoid the problems (I searched the archive of this  
list) or has a better solution than svndumpfilter occured?
