Subject: Cocoon 1.8.x with Weblogic 6.0

Has anyone been able to get Cocoon 1.8.x working successfully with Weblogic
6.0?

We've been trying to get the samples working on Cocoon 1.8.2 with Weblogic
6.0(sp1), and get the following error message when trying the sample pages:

java.lang.RuntimeException: Cannot access non-file/war resources

I saw in the mailing list archive that someone else had this problem back in
January, but I haven't been able to contact him directly, and I'm hoping
someone else has addressed the problem in the meantime. The problem relates
to Cocoon 1.8.x not working with WAR files, which is how Weblogic 6.x runs
applications. Going back to Weblogic 5.1 is not an option for us. We have
built and tested the applications on Tomcat 3.2 and 3.3, where everything
runs fine, but for production we need the clustering and monitoring features
of Weblogic 6.

Thanks,
Ben
