Re: Invitation to share common knowledge on REST OpenAPI component

Our company plans to release a product called GenericHTTP similar to REST
OpenAPI component that you have in Apache. We would be happy if you would
be able to share with us some insights about the project, which would not
violate any IP restrictions or such. We believe that this could be mutually
beneficial as we already have a lot of knowledge in this field. With this
email, we invite you for an online call, where we can discuss and share
what difficulties (technical, security, product) you experienced throughout
releasing and maintaining REST OpenAPI component .

Panoply is an ETL product with many different data sources - connectors,
like Postgres, Hubspot, and Google Ads. Recently we decided to create one
particular type of datasource, called GenericHTTP. It gives our customers
more flexibility by allowing them to collect data from any REST API
straight to the data warehouse. The only essential thing from the customer
is to configure the UI of the datasource.

Currently, Generic passed the alpha version, and we plan to unveil it to
every customer. Before this, we want to be sure that it is safe to release
and talk to specialists that have already deployed something similar.

Thank you for your time reading this letter and considering our request. If
you are interested, please reply to this mail so we can schedule a call at
any time that suits you.
