Re: Tapestry Component documentation

In 3.0, the compnent documentation is pure HTML, which is a pain to maintain.

In 3.1, the component documentation is in Forrest XML doc format.
However, only a couple of components have been documented.

The 3.1 documentation is currently at http://jakarta.apache.org/~hlship/tapestry

There was talk about an Ant tool that could extract some of the
documentation from the .jwc file directly. Especially in 3.1, there's
less and less information that can be extracted from the .jwc file
(for example, parameter type and direction is no longer part of the
.jwc file) ... and, given the emphasis on the how? and why? (over the
what?) in the component reference, it will continue to be a manual
process to maintain, I think.
