Currently we define extra servlets to allow users of the REST management API to perform operations that do not fit neatly into the standard REST CRUD model.  Many of these could be better thought of as operations on managed objects (for instance moving messages from one queue to another).  

We should expand the ConfiguredObject model to allow for the definition of operations on objects, that can be directly invoked from the REST API
