Prerequisite
Hi All,
I would like to know that how can I start contributing to the apache cloud
stack.
What are the basic things needed, which programming language to be used.
And do I need to be expert in Cloud computing?

Hi Sudha,
I am interested in any kind of works, the only constraint is time.
I will be able to contribute in this community from friday, and oh yes,
saturday is always there, because I have a day job.

Welcome! Would you be interested to write some test cases in python. We have rich automation suite which is mainly written in python.
If you feel comfortable in certain area, you can start looking at current feature set i.e Apache Cloudstack 4.1 release / 4.2 feature sets.
You will find all the new stories by going over the cwiki page that Radhika has provided.

Hi, I would not go so far as to say you need to be an expert, but knowledge of theory would be helpfull.
The core is written in Java, and there are many tools/scripts in Bash and Python.
Most importantly is to learn the methods of the community namely open discussion and transparency on your contributions.
There are many great resource on our wiki for new developers.
