[jira] [Created] (GROOVY-7857) Two dimensional array of collections with Generics

Durga Rao Manchikanti created GROOVY-7857:
---------------------------------------------

Summary: Two dimensional array of collections with Generics
                 Key: GROOVY-7857
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GROOVY-7857
             Project: Groovy
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Durga Rao Manchikanti
            Priority: Minor

It is expected that grid1, grid2, grid3 all of array type.. but grid3 is ArrayList

List[][] grid1 = new List[7][12]
println grid1.class.name
List<String>[][] grid2 = new List<>[7][12]
println grid2.class.name
List<Map<String,String>>[][] grid3 = new List<>[7][12]
println grid3.class.name
