The release date for 2.1 is not fixed yet. There are some important
issues that must be fixed for this release and the fixes are not ready
yet. Do not expect it this month.

As Ben replied in a direct mail, the latest development version is
always available from the subversion repository and you can compile it
yourself. However, you must be aware that this is not an officially
released version and it may contain additional bugs.

Also note that the appropriate list for end users questions is
users@commons.apache.org.
