[jira] [Created] (HIVE-17816) Wrong description of hive.security.authorization.sqlstd.confwhitelist and hive.security.authorization.sqlstd.confwhitelist.append

Akira Ajisaka created HIVE-17816:
------------------------------------

Summary: Wrong description of hive.security.authorization.sqlstd.confwhitelist and hive.security.authorization.sqlstd.confwhitelist.append
                 Key: HIVE-17816
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-17816
             Project: Hive
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Documentation
            Reporter: Akira Ajisaka

hive.security.authorization.sqlstd.confwhitelist and hive.security.authorization.sqlstd.confwhitelist.append are documented as "List of comma separated Java regexes", however, it is wrong. The comma separated Java regexes are treated as one regular expression. Therefore, they should be "List of vertical-bar (|) separated Java regexes".
