[jira] Commented: (JAMES-442) [TOOL] Stress Test Tool

Ralf Hauser commented on JAMES-442:
-----------------------------------

For pop3+SSL, we extended JMeter to do so: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=38384.

Wouldn't it be interesting to merge your other protocols/classes with JMeter too?

> Attached a set of classes acting as a standalone stress test tool for James.
> As the package namespace I chose o.a.j.postage, the latter being the preliminary name for this tool.
> While being functional at least under James 2.2.0, all integrational aspects are not yet discussed,
> even if it is integrated into the codebase at all.
> It is intended as a first draft, a base for discussions.
> A howto is included.
