The only legal requirements are for a Software Grant for the original
donation and for ICLA's (Individual Contributor License Agreement) for each
committer - which you dont get an apache account without. Having said that
it is preferable[1] to have a CCLA and the ASF Secretary recorded a
CCLA from Pivotal on 7th May 2015 which listed the people working on Geode.
