DB Union with Torque?

Greetings,
I've been using Torque for a while now and its been super.  I've had to
do a few creative things with views and what not to satisfy the system
requirements but I'm stumped on one query.  I have a need to perform a
union and don't know how I would do this with Torque.  Is there a way to
perform something like:

select ... from A where ...
union
select ... from A where ...
