Question about using avro

I read some introduction about avro and found it is close to my need.

What I need to do is to analyze web log(very huge, n T)using map reduce,
each line in the log is like this:

field1, field2,.....................,fieldn

I want to use a schema describing such a log format and automate the reading
and parsing process, and new log may contain more or less fields so I also
want the tool to support schema changing.

Is there an open source project like Avro meeting my needs? and If not, how
could avro to achieve this goal. Or still not, maybe I need to write such a
project myself following avro.

Another question about configurinng avro(before make):

checking whether the Boost::Regex library is available... yes
configure: error: Could not link against  !

I searched the web and haven't found good solution? does anyone here know
the answer?
