Catch-all ActionMapping?
Hello all... I guess this is really actually two questions...
First, can anyone explain the settings of the debug and detail init params
of ActionServlet? I haven't been able to dig up any good detail. The best
I've found is that higher numbers are more detailed, but what's the highest
possible value for instance?
Second, I'm working on a project where during development I occassionally
have an issue where an ActionMapping is not valid, but I don't get any error
either on the browser or in stdout (running in Tomcat, just looking at the
output window). That's why I asked about the error detail, maybe I can set
it in such a way to see these messages?
Failing that, is there a way to set up a kind of "catch-all" Action mapping?
What I mean is, is it possible to say something like "Ok, if no mapping is
found that matches the request, forward to page xxxx"?
Thanks all!

I believe the "debug" setting has been deprecated in favor of log settings
for commons-logging (or whatever logging implementation you're using).

Specify 'unknown="true"' for your catch-all action mapping. To forward to a
jsp, do something like:
<action path="/index"
type="org.apache.struts.actions.ForwardAction"
parameter="index.jsp"
unknown="true"/>
