Warszawa JUG - The good and the better of Enterprise JavaBeans 3.0

Hi,

For those who aren't in the know, there's a Polish Java User Group in
Warsaw - Warszawa JUG
(http://groups-beta.google.com/group/warszawa-jug). It's a
Polish-speaking community so don't expect any English gems.

I had a pleasure to present "The good and the better of Enterprise
JavaBeans 3.0" at the 3rd group meeting (you can download it as a
OpenOffice presentation from the website). There were around 40 people
(!) (only Java EE 5 topic brought more people). The seemed to be very
pleased with the changes in EJB3 and even after I finished at 7:30 PM
people kept sitting awaiting more. I just skimmed through the topic so
I had not been surprised, but the patience in the crowd silently
awaiting more was unbelievable. I'll definitely go back to the details
on the comming meetings.

I thought I'd mention it as Apache OpenEJB 3 had a place on the list
of the available EJB 3 containers and I think it might bring some more
attention to the project. Expect the unexpected - the flow of people
who're eager to know more about EJB3 is just around the corner ;-)

I don't expect too many folks to understand Belarusian, so this can
be in English, if that's ok (?) Also the "settling in Minsk" process
is rather involved, leaving very little time for open source
activities. So maybe we'll come back to this idea once we have an
integrated Cayenne JPA provider. I can do a JPA presentation then.

What? You're living just around the corner?! That's fabulous! If only
you wanted present a topic, we'd definitely schedule a meeting right
away!

Yes, but the main acronyms are included for reference. Give it a try
and see how easy it is to learn Polish :P

Excellent! Way to go, Jacek! This is great news.

If there's something you'd like to publish on the site, that'd be cool.
