Get Portlet Entity ID from a portlet

Hi,
can somebody tell me if it is possible (and possibly how)to get the own portlet entity id from a portlet?

Thanks
Lucio Savino

Yes.
I've created an utility class, PortletWindowUtils, in Portals Bridges common:

http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/portals/bridges/trunk/common/src/java/org/apache/portals/bridges/util/PortletWindowUtils.java?view=markup

It is available since release 1.0.1.

Note: in Jetspeed, PortletWindowId == PortletEntityId == PortletResponse.getNamespace(), but in other portals this might not be the case (if they even have the
concept of PortletEntity).

Regards,

Ate
