For the request:
/api/v1/clusters/c1/hosts/dev.hortonworks.com?fields=host_components
or the request:
http://localhost:8080/api/v1/clusters/c1/services/HDFS/components/NAMENODE?fields=host_components

Metrics data is returned for the top level resource even though it isn't specified in the partial response data. This is bad because gathering metrics data is expensive and it should not be gathered if it is not needed. This is a significant performance issue.

This seems to be an issue with resources that contain metric data for queries requesting a sub-resource only.
