It looks like these failures were introduced in revision 370210

I could be wrong, but at first glance it looks like Rick's changes, committed by Andrew, to fix metadata.java and syscat.sql for the JDK 1.3 VM have caused failures on JDK 1.4 (I see it there) and JDK 1.5.
