[jira] [Commented] (RYA-284) Enhance accumulo.rya to support the use of bloom filter

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/RYA-284?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17121481#comment-17121481 ]

Puja Valiyil commented on RYA-284:
----------------------------------

[~brushworth] if you end up working on this, please take a look at tri’s old pull request.  I remember he had to make some non-trivial changes to the accumulo dao to enable bloom filters effectively.  There were some concerns that we didn’t have adequate test coverage to ensure the changes wouldn’t introduce new bugs, and the testing he did didn’t show that significant a performance boost from using bloom filters.
