   ### What needs to happen?
   
   The Session runner is an unused, untested [legacy runner file](https://github.com/apache/beam/blob/master/sdks/go/pkg/beam/runners/session/session.go) that should be removed to further clean up the runners directory. The `session` package should be marked as deprecated for a release then later removed altogether.
