[jira] [Commented] (CB-124) Battery Event not implemented for Playbook

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-124?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13180971#comment-13180971 ]

Filip Maj commented on CB-124:
------------------------------

For the record, BlackBerry smartphones do not have access to the WebWorks Battery state change API, so we have to keep the native bits for now, unfortunately.

> These should be able to be implemented by routing through https://bdsc.webapps.blackberry.com/html5/apis/blackberry.system.event.html#.deviceBatteryLevelChange and https://bdsc.webapps.blackberry.com/html5/apis/blackberry.system.event.html#.deviceBatteryStateChange
> P.S. we should check that the smartphone implementation does this and not some native-y stuff.
