[users@httpd] OT question

Where would I go to ask questions about cron?

I keep getting /bin/bash: root: command not found

Sorry for the OT post...

Thanks Steven and Keith.

There were 2 problems. crontab in my fedora setup had "root" inserted
after the time params and the fedora version of cron took that as a
command.

Then my second problem was that my editor for some silly reason
thought they were windoze files rather than unix...

All happy now. :)

In theory, theory and practice are the same;
In practice they are not.

This topic is something that WAS JUST covered on the list.

Try the link below. Also you can Google (YOUR friend) and
that will help also.

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=cron&btnG=Google+Search

has a listing (TOP) that is for someone new to cron. Yes, and also
ask the question on the list for your OS.

Check this out Gerry.
