Configuring subversion

Hello:

I have subversion deployed on a linux server. I'm now trying to get the
subclipse plugin in eclipse on my client to talk to the server. I'm able to
connect to a repository on another remote server using subclipse but no luck
communicating with my server.

I have no idea where to go from here. The documentation on the subclipse side is
no help to me. I'm not even sure what access layer module it is using to
connect to the server. I am getting a "RA Layer request failed" error in
subclipse.

A tech at my webhosting account installed subversion there so I'm not sure of
the actual installation steps taken. From what I can tell it's working fine.
I'm able to use the svn command. It also tells me via the svn --version command
that I have ra_dav, ra_local, and ra_svn available as RA modules.

Is it possible that there is some configuration that weren't completed on the
server? Are there config files that I could verify? How could I verify the
status of the installation on the server?

Any ideas about how to proceed?

lee

Subclipse is a separate project; I'd remail your question (with more
specifics) to their own mailing lists.
