[jira] [Commented] (KYLIN-4461) When querying with measure whose
return type is decimal, it will throw type cast exception
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KYLIN-4461?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17089337#comment-17089337 ]
wangrupeng commented on KYLIN-4461:
-----------------------------------
Well, it's not a bug. This happens when the types of dimension and the resurn value of the measure which processes this dimension not match. For example, the table I loaded from hive, one dimension type is doube, but the measure return type is decimal.
This problem happens when I create metadata manually. If you add measures for the cube, the return type will be the same as the source table and it's not editable.
